Today, SMRT Trains operates and maintains the North-South and East-West Lines, the Circle Line and the Bukit Panjang Light Rail Transit system. These lines cover over 148km of rail tracks across 106 stations. SMRT TEL Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of SMRT Trains Ltd operates and maintains the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). Currently, stage 1 and 2 of TEL have begun operations while stage 3 is expected to start passenger service by end 2022.
