The UITP Academy is launching a two-day onsite training course focused on Electric Bus Operations and Human Resources & Competence Management, scheduled for 22–23 April 2025 in New Delhi, India. The course will feature classroom sessions, international case studies, and technical visits.

With most metropolitan areas targeting zero-emission environments, an increasing number of cities and transport companies are considering a fully electric solution for their urban bus network. In this context, UITP Academy designed this training programme on the operations of Electric Buses to give a comprehensive overview on the operations of electric buses. This training will provide an insight into urban bus networks, the importance of building a sustainable infrastructure, recent technologies, and using data for the operation, maintenance, scheduling and implementation of efficient timetables on city routes.

The programme also covers training and upskilling initiatives, with a focus on enhancing technical proficiency and soft skills through targeted programmes that promote continuous learning and adaptation to industry advancements. Participants will learn to set clear, measurable objectives aligned with company strategy and implement robust monitoring and feedback mechanisms to drive performance and development. Additionally, they will gain insights into conducting comprehensive 360-degree evaluations and feedback processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth among team members.
