Without staff, public transport cannot operate. This has become a pressing reality. Estimates suggest that that the next five years will add 2.2 million new jobs for bus and truck drivers. And as a shared challenge, it’s important that we collaborate as a sector to highlight best practices ultimately reverse the trend. On this, UITP’s Business and Human Resources Committee has gathered data and best practices from over a dozen countries to explore the seriousness of this issue and showcase examples of how we may move forward together.
