SUMI (Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicators) offers technical assistance to selected urban areas for the pilot application of a pre-defned set of sustainable urban mobility indicators. The indicators are officially endorsed by the European Commission and based on the “SMP2.0 Sustainable Mobility Indicators” developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
Through this process, the European Commission aims at applying and improving the set of indicators in order to support cities in evaluating their mobility system. Additionally, the cities can track the impact of their policies through a harmonised and widely accepted approach.
SUMI is coordinated by Rupprecht Consult- Forschung & Beratung GmbH.
