UITP is coming to InnoTrans to showcase its Annual Summit

UITP is heading to Berlin to join InnoTrans, the international trade fair for transport technology. From 24 to 27 September you can find our UITP Summit Stand at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Join us in hall 4.1a at Booth 160!

UITP Secretary General Mohamed Mezghani and several UITP colleagues will be at InnoTrans. They will also be joined by the team from Hamburg. You can meet up to get a taste of the partnership opportunities awaiting you at the UITP Summit 2025 in Hamburg.

The UITP Summit in Hamburg promises an inspiring gathering of over 10,000 mobility professionals from around the world. With innovative exhibitions, cutting-edge discussions, and immersive technical tours, attendees will dive deep into the future of sustainable urban transport.

The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) offers UITP members a ‘journey into Berlin’s underworld’. A two-hour English-language tour takes participants through the city’s subway tunnels on an open subway car. Taking place on Friday 27 September from 18.30 to 21.00, the tour starts at the Deutsche Oper subway station (U2 line).

Of course, most in UITP will be looking at the technicalities of the metro system. But the underground also gives a peak into the fascinating history of the city. For example, the tour takes you through a subway station doing service as a potato cellar, and another ready to give nuclear shelter to 3,300 people.
