With nearly 140 years of history, the UITP Summit is the event that stands as the highlight in the calendar of all public transport professionals.
And from 15-18 June this year, Hamburg will become the centre of the mobility world with the Hanseatic city hosting the first UITP Summit under our new annual format.
Now with all eyes on the road towards Hamburg, we’re excited to announce that the official registration has opened for the world’s largest event dedicated to urban mobility.
Displaying the latest innovations, solutions and products, presented and showcased by public transport’s top players, the UITP Summit is an immersive four-day experience.
Combining a diverse programme of world-class Congress sessions and an outstanding Exhibition, the Summit is the place to be.
Alongside our local hosts, Hamburg Hochbahn, MOIA and the Hamburg Messe und Congress, the UITP Summit welcomes more than 10,000 public transport professionals ranging from operators, authorities, industry suppliers and policy makers from across the globe.
Building on the success of previous editions, from 2025 the UITP Summit will occur on an annual basis.
And our first host city will be Hamburg!
UITP and our local hosts held the first of our 2025 local launches in the host city last October.
By engaging with decision makers, sector players, partners and the media, we introduced the importance of the Summit to public transport and the local city and country.
An impressive metropolis, Hamburg is Germany’s second largest city, and is a major international tourist destination.
Whether travelling by train, bus or ship, Hamburg is very well-connected, with public transport running across the city as the backbone of urban mobility.
Preparation and success go hand-in-hand; and alongside our members we’re working hard to bring the sector a Summit to remember.
