An interactive 90-minute online event for members in the Asia and ANZ region

UITP Asia-Pacific is jointly organising the 3rd webinar with UITP India and UITP Australia-New Zealand on “Capacity Building for Service & Network Resilience” on 22 August 2024 between 13:30 -15:00 Hong Kong time (UTC+8).

Capacity-building is the process of developing and strengthening skills, instincts, abilities and resources that both individuals and organisations need to survive, adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world. At the individual level, it’s about changing attitude and behaviour, imparting knowledge and developing skills while maximising the benefits of participation, knowledge exchange, and ownership. At the institutional level, it’s about improving overall organisational performance and the ability of the organisation to adapt to change.

In public transport/shared mobility service delivery, capacity-building is crucial to ensuring people, services and networks remain resilient in the face of ‘change’ – particularly in regard to changes in travel patterns and disruptions to services resulting from natural/man-made disasters.

This 90-minute intensive webinar aims to understand how public transport service providers in the Asia and ANZ regions are applying capacity-building concepts and methods to attract, retain, and develop staff and to make service delivery more resilient to unexpected changes to social, economic, and natural environments.

Join our webinar to gain perspectives from global experts for some practical understanding and case studies to enhance the responsiveness of public transport systems in your region.

Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) in English and Chinese will be provided during this webinar.

*More information will be shared in due course and UITP reserves the right to make amendments to the programme or any related activity.
