UITP Asia-Pacific is jointly organising the 4th webinar of the year, together with UITP India and UITP Australia-New Zealand on ‘Stations of the Future’ on 11 December 2024 between 13:30-15:00 Hong Kong time (UTC+8).
Stations today are an essential part of a city and its people. They harbour all types of travellers, serve many different purposes, and have vital implications to a city’s planning, functionality and character. Moreover, station design and development can play a key role in making public transport more resilient in terms of sustainability, safety, and accessibility. Making stations lively hubs for citizens and public transport users will contribute to making public transport the only solution for healthy cities.
This webinar aims to bring together everyone in the field to discuss the latest trends in stations and identify the main issues for station users. Join our webinar to gain perspectives from global experts for some practical understanding and case studies to create better and more inclusive stations in your region.
This webinar will address topical issues like rail stations as spaces for better life, people-centric approach to development of stations, and ways of making stations lively mobility hubs.
Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) in English and Chinese will be provided during this webinar.
*More information will be shared in due course and UITP reserves the right to make amendments to the programme or any related activity.
