Free webinar series: Five sessions

Third meeting coming...

Last year, Moscow Transport Department and UITP planned The Urban Transport Leader Council as a joint event to discuss urban mobility strategies and innovation in leading cities around the world. Like many others, this plan fell victim to the Coronavirus outbreak.

But as strategy and innovation are now more important than ever, UITP relaunched the idea in the format of five webinars dedicated to discussing how public transport can come out stronger from the current crisis.

The first webinar –THE BIGGER PICTURE –took place 28 January 2021.

The second webinar – CHANGING CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS – took place February 25.

The recordings of both webinars are available in UITP MyLibrary on Eurasia Division section.

Session 3 -

The potential of innovation
A focus on Asia… with Singapore, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Moscow!

March 25, 2021 - 25 марта 2021 г.

As a major disruption, the current pandemic has revealed the fragility of many business sectors including public transport.

Many traditional customer channels, business processes and working routines had to be reorganised and adapted to new requirements.

Many of the new solutions have been proven reliable options, helping to improve the efficiency and resilience of public transport operation. This should remind us to the continuous need to review and seek improvement to establish public transport as the preferred mode of choice in the future.

The webinar explores:

  • How digitalisation can help to increase the attractiveness of public transport
  • How data-driven solutions can contribute to more efficient operational processes
  • How new and clean technology can help to improve the environmental footprint of public transport even further

Webinar will be in English with Russian translation.

• Как цифровизация может помочь повысить привлекательность общественного транспорта;
• Как решения на основе данных могут способствовать повышению эффективности операционных процессов;
