UITP India along with UITP Asia-Pacific and UITP Australia-New Zealand are jointly organising a webinar on ‘Effective Strategies for Predictive Maintenance‘ on 16 April 2025 at 13:30-15:00 Hong Kong time (UTC+8).

Predictive maintenance in public transport refers to the use of data, sensors, and advanced analytics to anticipate and predict when maintenance or repairs are needed for vehicles and infrastructure. With the advancement of latest technologies, predictive maintenance allows public transport operators to proactively address issues before they cause service disruptions. From preventing unexpected failures to ensuring improved safety, increasing vehicle lifespans, enhancing energy efficiency, as well as data-driven decision making and cost efficiency, predictive maintenance plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of public transport systems.

This 90-minute intensive webinar will explore the effective strategies adopted for predictive maintenance that transforms how public transportation systems manage their fleet and infrastructure, in brief, by enabling a proactive approach that helps enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and improve overall passenger experience.

Some of the topical aspects this webinar will cover are:
