Accessible mobility is key to creating cities that are equitable, diverse, and resilient.But designing and integrating large-scale mobility networks requires both robust and flexible project and process management to ensure solutions meet both current and future user needs.

This workshop will focus on creating accessible urban mobility solutions that prioritise user needs. Key objectives include:

  1. User Engagement: Discussing ways to involve users in the development of accessible transportation systems.
  2. User-Centric Solutions: Exploring innovative designs and technologies for diverse users, including people with reduced mobility and women.
  3. Mediation and Service Integration: Integrating various mobility services (public transport, ride-sharing, etc.) into a seamless, accessible system.
  4. Accessibility in Urban Context: Examining how accessibility should be integrated into urban planning, from master plans to land-use and demographic considerations, through to execution.

The workshop will provide practical insights on planning and implementing inclusive, user-centred urban mobility solutions.
