Delhi Metro, the lifeline of National Capital Region of Delhi marked 25 years of its foundation in the year 2019. It became a pioneer in India in automated metros with opening of its fully automated line Magenta Line in December 2020. Several cities in the country have seen introduction of metro rail systems in past few years in India. As of this year India has 760+ km of operational metros, 570+ under construction.

UITP India presents its flagship annual event on Urban Rail “4th UITP India Urban Rail Seminar” supported by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Scheduled on 23-26 February 2021, the event will witness representation from all metros in India, metro operators, financing institutions ministries involved in Urban Rail landscape of India and other industry players.

The seminar will also encompass key national and international speakers sharing their knowledge and experiences on various topics of covid-19 impact on Urban Rail sector and the road to recovery, technological innovation in Urban Rail Sector brought by the pandemic, new financing and governance approaches in Urban Rail sector, digitalisation in Urban Rail

Attending the Urban Rail Seminar is a perfect opportunity to gain and share knowledge from various national and international players from the Urban Rail domain.

The seminar will be held online due to current Covid -19 situation.
