We regularly collect information about public transport and urban mobility through gathering and exchanging knowledge with our extensive network of urban mobility stakeholders. From specific and targeted surveys, to large and global ones, complemented by intensive desk research, UITP has built over the years a unique data base. The analysis of the data is not only used to strengthen UITP advocacy objectives but also provides to UITP members key information to support their decision making process. UITP data is also used by research and innovation projects.

UITP publishes regularly statistical findings in the form of statistics briefs, datasets, and in-depth reports which cover a wide range of topics relevant to the sector.
